NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Toshihiro Uchiyama) announced that it will exhibit its products and technologies at JIMTOF 2016, the 28th Japan International Machine Tool Fair, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto Ward, Tokyo) from Thursday, November 17 to Tuesday, November 22, 2016.
NSK is the leading developer and manufacturer of bearings, precision machine components such as ball screws and spindles. The company will continue to provide an extensive range of sales and technical services to meet all present and future customer needs based on its comprehensive technological resources.
This exhibition will showcase high-performance products with improved reliability along with condition monitoring systems (CMS) for next-generation machine tools, as well as other new technologies.

NSK products such as precision bearings, ball screws, and the NSK Linear Guides™ contribute to improved, diversified machine tool performance in the following ways.
(1) High precision and improvement of machining surface quality･Use newly developed cage
This product reduces the of non-repeatable runout (NRRO) by 50% compared to conventional models, generates less heat, operates at high speed, and contributes to high-precision processing.
This product reduces ball screw torque variance up to 30%, resulting in stable torque regardless of nut location. Improvements to operation control performance contribute to better machining surface quality.
The world's highest load rating level delivers double the lifetime of traditional products. Longer product lifetime contributes to extended maintenance intervals and smaller equipment.
(3) Quiet, low vibration, and clean, for a more environmentally friendly production
Adoption of a new recirculation system results in high-speed, quiet performance.

Ball Screw PLAYER
Differing rotation speeds of ball screws are combined to create a musical scale. By applying unique NSK micro-fabrication to the surface of a ball screw, this player can create any kind of melody.
