NSK Welcomes Visitors to JIMTOF 2022

• NSK is working with machine tool manufacturers to realize a carbon neutral world through advanced NSK technology.

NSK Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Akitoshi Ichii) will exhibit its products and technologies at the 31st Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF 2022), to be held at Tokyo Big Site November 8-13, 2022.

As JIMTOF kicks off, NSK will also publish a major update to NSK VIRTUAL EXPO - an online exhibition of leading machine tools products.

Machine tools are the backbone of industry, serving as essential infrastructure to make components for other machines. NSK is proud to be the only company to research and manufacture precision bearings, balls screws, linear guides, and spindles, the four core components of machine tools.

In recent years, the industry has been demanding more advanced machine tools that save energy, use higher durability parts, are more automated, and have higher accuracy. NSK will be exhibiting a selection of advanced products that for the needs of today and the near future.

Ball Screws for Next-Generation High-Accuracy Machine Tools

• Reduced motion errors help improve machine tool productivity through higher quality surface finish.
• Eliminates or reduces time needed for burnishing/polishing.
• Reduced friction fluctuation when the ball screw reverses direction of motion, thereby improving motion accuracy and reducing quadrant glitch motion errors.

NSK K1-L Lubrication Unit for NSK Linear Guides™

• Newly developed materials supplies lubricant for approximately twice as long as the conventional model.
• Improved how the unit contacts the rail to reduce drive friction by approximately 20%.
• NSK K1-L further enhances lubrication performance contributing to even longer maintenance-free operation.

D-VibA10 Wireless Vibration Diagnostic Device

• Includes ACOUS NAVI™ Condition Monitoring & Diagnostic Software.
• Highly portable, lightweight, wireless device is ideal for patrol maintenance inspections.
• Makes vibration measurement and diagnosis of rotating machinery quick and easy.
• Contributes to stable equipment operation and maintenance efficiency.
