Update: Status of the NSK Group following the Northeast Japan Earthquake (as of March 18)

Following is our update as of March 18, 13:00.

Production Forecast

Some production delay or stoppage will be expected due to rolling blackouts, logistic troubles in Japan.

Establishment and Organization of the Earthquake Task Force

Immediately after the earthquake, we established the Earthquake Task Force.
The task force plays key role to confirm the safety of all employees and their families, and are now working at full strength to restore production to our customers with emphasis on safety and quality assurance.

Employees

NSK have confirmed all NSK group employees' safety with few exceptions.

NSK will continue the cooperation in reducing electricity usage by avoiding unnecessary billboards lighting and electrical equipments.
