NSK Selected for the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index for the 24th Consecutive Year

NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Akitoshi Ichii) today announced that it has been selected for the 24th consecutive year for inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index — the Asia Pacific regional index within the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices (DJBIC Indices), a leading benchmark for ESG investment.

The DJBIC Indices are based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by S&P Global, which evaluates listed companies worldwide across three dimensions — Governance and Economic, Environmental, and Social — and selects those that demonstrate outstanding sustainability performance as index constituents. The DJBIC Indices are recognized as one of the leading ESG benchmarks for investors who care deeply about corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

In addition, NSK has been selected for the fifth consecutive year as a Sustainability Yearbook Member — a designation given to companies that achieve particularly high CSA scores within their respective industries.

Guided by its corporate philosophy — “NSK contributes to a safer, smoother society and helps protect the global environment through its innovative technology integrating Motion & Control™. As a truly international enterprise, we are working across national boundaries to improve relationships between people throughout the world.” — NSK’s business activities have supported a wide variety of machinery, contributing to the growth of customers' businesses and to the sustainable development of many other stakeholders. NSK believes this commitment has contributed to its continued inclusion in the DJBIC Indices.

Going forward, NSK will continue to pursue both the resolution of social issues through its business activities and its own sustainable growth.
