NSK to Exhibit at SEMICON JAPAN 2025
NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Akitoshi Ichii) announced that it will exhibit at SEMICON JAPAN 2025, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from December 17 to December 19, 2025.

NSK will exhibit product groups that support high-temperature, vacuum, and clean environments, based on the needs of cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Exhibits will include the Ultra-Low Particle Emissions Series*1 (reference exhibit) designed for the next-generation semiconductor miniaturization referred to as Beyond 2nm, and the High-Precision Alignment Tables (first-time exhibit), which deliver sub-micron level positioning accuracy.
We will also introduce advanced Condition Monitoring Solutions that integrate AI with diagnostic technology to facilitate predictive maintenance for customers.
*1 Low particle emissions: A state in which the number of particles generated during the use of machine elements (ball screws, linear guides, bearings, etc.) is significantly lower than that of conventional products.

①Solutions for Ultra-Low Particle Emissions :
Ball Screws and Linear Guides
This exhibit will showcase NSK’s ultra-low particle emissions specification ball screws and linear guides, which were designed for the next-generation of semiconductor manufacturing technology development referred to as Beyond 2nm.
② High-Precision Alignment Tables
These tables achieve sub-micron level positioning accuracy required in semiconductor and optical device manufacturing. The wedge mechanism and high-precision ball screws/linear guides achieve both high rigidity and high repeatability. The optimized structure allows for fast settling and supports high throughput in the production process.
③XY Tables for Vacuum Environments
High-precision XY tables for vacuum and clean environments, such as those used in semiconductor and electron beam lithography. NSK's proprietary material and lubrication technology achieve both low outgassing*2 and stable operation over long periods of time. Placing the motor on the atmosphere side suppresses the effects of heat generation to support highly flexible designs.
*2 Low outgassing: The characteristic of not easily generating volatile components.
④Hybrid XY Tables
NSK's unique hybrid structure, which combines a linear guide and an air slide, achieves both high rigidity and ultra-high precision positioning. It maintains high straightness and smooth travel even over long strokes, and supports custom designs tailored to various applications.
⑤Condition Monitoring Solutions
AI and proprietary diagnostic technology can detect abnormalities early in equipment within semiconductor manufacturing plants. Predictive maintenance achieves stable equipment operation and efficiency in maintenance work.
