DH/DS Series NSK Linear Guides™ Receive CHO MONOZUKURI Award

NSK has received the “2023 CHO MONOZUKURI Machinery and Robot Component Award” for its ‘Long-Life Series DH/DS NSK Linear Guides’.

The award-winning ‘Long-Life Series DH/DS NSK Linear Guides’ are used in a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including semiconductor and LCD manufacturing equipment, automobile manufacturing equipment, transport robots, and machine tools. The DH/DS Series offers improved reliability by applying NSK heat treatment technology to achieve a running life twice that of conventional products.

Generally, the larger the size of the linear guide, the higher the rated load and the longer the service life, but this product makes it possible to maintain the same service life even if replaced by a smaller linear guide, enabling the reduction of equipment size and other value-added improvements.

NSK's strengths lie in its four core technologies (tribology, materials, numerical simulation, and mechatronics) and manufacturing engineering that gives shape to products applying technologies. NSK will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by supplying highly functional products to the market in a timely manner through product development that makes full use of these technologies.
