NSK welcomes visitors to 72nd ABM WEEK Annual Congress
Summary of the Event
Organized by the Brazilian Metallurgy and Mining Association (ABM), ABM WEEK is the largest technical-scientific event in Latin America for the metallurgy, materials, and mining industries. This event originates from a partnership formed between 11 separate field-specific exhibitions and events, and aims to promote technological exchange, industry development, and improved competitiveness in the global marketplace.
NSK Contribution and Participation
NSK presents technical work on bearing reconditioning
NSK will report on its research and investigations into the “Reconditioning of bearings from the standpoint of adding value” in connection with bearing use in continuous casting machines (CCM). Sign-ups for the session by NSK have already reached maximum capacity. However, NSK employees will also be available in the event sponsor area to field questions and inquiries, including about the cost-saving Asset Management Program (AIP), which aims to optimize the use of bearings in machines and equipment. This optimization allows operation at maximum capacity with less wear, increases productivity, and considerably reduces operation and maintenance costs.
