NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Norio Otsuka) will exhibit its products and technologies at the Exhibit at Machinery & Electronics Exhibition Kanazawa (MEX Kanazawa), to be held at Ishikawa Industrial Exhibition Hall (Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture) from Thursday, May 14 to Saturday, May 16.
MEX Kanazawa expects a wide range of visitors, as the exhibit is a comprehensive machinery industry trade fair covering everything from metal working, processing machinery, and related products to electrical and electronic-related devices. NSK will exhibit various products that support the high-speed Hokuriku Shinkansen Line, which opened in March 2015. These products include bearings used in rolling stock and NSK Linear Guide™ roller guides used in the platform doors at stations along the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line.
NSK will display a wide variety of other products as well, including ultra-high-precision main spindle bearings for machine tools, newly developed grease that enables the world's fastest rotation, various high-grade products for electrical machinery and general industrial equipment use as well as state-of-the art, high-performance products.
Infrastructure development and stimulation of the manufacturing industry are being encouraged in the Hokuriku region as a new candidate relocation site in business continuity plans (BCP), since the area is at low risk of natural disasters. With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, development is expected to grow at an ever faster pace in the future.
