NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Toshihiro Uchiyama) today announced that it exhibits at the 9th UIC World Congress on High Speed Rail (UIC HIGHSPEED 2015). The event is being held at the Tokyo International Forum in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, Japan, from Tuesday, July 7 to Thursday, July 9, 2015.
UIC HIGHSPEED is the world's largest international conference for high-speed rail. Although it has been held every several years since 1992, this year it is being hosted in Japan for the first time. An exhibition to display the latest in high-speed rail technologies, products and services will also be held. NSK will showcase not only its highly reliable bearings specialized for use in rail vehicle wheel axles, drive units, and traction motors, but also its solutions for even greater railway safety and reliability, including systems for monitoring the status of high-speed rail bearings and providing anomaly alerts.
