The Grand Partner Award (R&D division) was given to NSK as one of seven outstanding performance suppliers for contribution in fiscal year 2009.

Outline of the award
The Komatsu Grand Partner Award was awarded to suppliers for their excellence in fields such as product quality, delivery performance and technical service. NSK was honored for the first time, for improving the performance of its bearings within a short time. NSK made possible great improvements for Komatsu large dumper trucks.
NSK President and CEO Norio Otsuka received the award from Komatsu President and CEO Kunio Noji during the ceremony held on May 7 at the ANA Intercontinental Hotel (Tokyo, Minato-ward, Akasaka).
