High-speed capability and high rigidity are required of ball bearings used for sustaining axial loads in machine tool spindles. For superior performance, NSKROBUST bearings are designed to support high thrust rigidity while delivering low heat generation at high speeds.

Design Features

Single row angular contact thrust ball bearings in back-to-back (DB) arrangement
With polyamide resin cages for bore diameters up to 160 mm; machined brass cages for larger sizes
Available with steel balls, ceramic balls for higher seizure resistance and lower heat generation and/or ultra-long-life EQTF balls for high wear resistance
With P2A and P4A accuracies (ISO class with special outer diameter tolerances
For dimension series 10 bore and outside diameters, with special width dimensions
Available with 40° contact angle (BTR type) and/or 30° contact angle (BAR type)
BTR types support high thrust rigidity with high speeds; BAR types support higher speeds
Available for bore diameters from 50 to 380 mm
