Design Features

  • Super-engineered alloy composition augmented with chrome and molybdenum to achieve greater hardness and higher toughness
  • Advanced carbonitriding heat treatment to achieve increased compressive stress
  • Higher retained austenite levels mitigate damage progression under contaminated and boundary lubrication conditions
  • Commonly deployed for spherical, cylindrical and tapered roller bearings for heavy machinery used in punishing industrial applications and environments, but possible for a wide range of products and challenges
