Maximum Deep Groove Ball Bearings

With inner and outer ring filling slots that allow more balls to be inserted into the bearing, maximum bearings support higher radial loads than standard deep groove ball bearings of the same size. They are, however, restricted by limiting speed and have limited suitability for axial loads.

Maximum Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Design Features

  • Manufactured with filling slots in the inner and outer rings to accommodate maximum number of balls
  • With pressed steel cage
  • Available as open bearings or closed with non-contact metal shield seals
  • Radial internal clearances C2, C-normal, C3, C4 and C5
  • Equivalent to dimension series 62 (BL2) and 63 (BL3)
  • For shaft diameters ranging from 25 to 110 mm

Operating Benefits

  • Significantly higher radial load capacity compared with standard deep groove ball bearings, without increasing the bearing size
  • Cost-effective alternative to roller bearing

Fields of Application including

  • Agricultural machinery
  • Conveyors and material handling
  • Electric motors
  • Fans and blowers
  • Gearbox and drives
  • Pumps and compressor
