Looking for
new
opportunities

Regarding alliances, we have already been actively looking to form alliances on a global level for products that we do not hold a No. 1 or 2 position in the market.
As the result of fierce competition in the bearings industry, the number of global companies has shrunk to about 10. And viewing INA's takeover of FAG in Germany, I think it is very possible that further consolidation and integration may be on the way.
It is vital for NSK to make swift decisions in regards to forming alliances, so that we can take the leading role in such circumstances.
