Precision machinery and parts manufactured by NSK are used in machine tools, industrial robots, semiconductor and liquid crystal production equipment and many other applications. These products also contribute to the enhancement of production foundation (higher-speed, lower noise, more compact), environmental load reduction and maintenance-free operation. For example, NSK ball screws, linear guides and spindles are used in the machine tools that make the dies and molds used to produce today’s increasingly slim-model mobile telephones.

to further enhance customer satisfaction under our
new structure.
NSK is implementing a variety of initiatives designed to raise customer satisfaction levels by providing prompt, fine-tuned solutions to customer needs. Our efforts to improve productivity through APS (Advanced Production System) activities have brought significant reductions in delivery lead times.
In the past, NSK Precision Co., Ltd. was responsible for the development and production of precision machinery and parts, while marketing and sales were handled by NSK Sales Co., Ltd. On October 1, 2006, all of these functions were integrated under NSK Precision Co., Ltd. Under this new structure, we aim to link production more efficiently to demand, and to strengthen our proposal marketing capabilities through closer collaboration between technical and sales departments.
At the Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF2006) in November 2006, we announced three new products that will help take machine tools sophistication to a new level. Promotional efforts focused on the extensive range of precision machinery and parts offered by NSK, and on our commitment to customer satisfaction, as expressed in the theme: “Solutions.”
