- Business Overview
As a comprehensive bearing manufacturer, NSK has developed field technology, product development capability and production technology, which it capitalizes on in its products. NSK supplies bearings that respond to a wide range of needs in every business sector. Products range from miniature bearings with an outside diameter of just 2 mm to super-large bearings with an outside diameter of 6 m, to products designed for high speed, heavy loads and special environments. Always acting from the customer’s viewpoint, NSK responds to demand throughout three sectors: The general industry machinery sector, including steelmaking equipment, machine tools, wind turbines, construction machinery, rail cars and mining machinery; the electrical machinery and IT equipment sector, including home appliances and personal computers; and the aftermarket sector.

In this segment, NSK is involved in two business areas. First, we supply automotive bearings for use in engines, chassis, drivetrains and other parts of motor vehicles. Second, we supply automotive components, such as electric power steering (EPS) systems, steering columns joints and shafts, automatic transmission (AT) components. NSK responds to increasing needs in the automotive industry for safety, comfort and environment-friendliness by supplying high-performance and high-quality products all around the world.
