NSK Contributions to Relief and Recovery Efforts for Victims of the Indian Ocean Tsunami |
The thoughts of everyone in the NSK Group of companies are with the victims, survivors and loved ones of those affected by this disaster.
NSK Ltd. announced that contributions from NSK Group companies in Japan, the NSK Welfare Program, and others total approximately 25,000,000yen. Hoping for the full recovery of the affected communities, this amount has been donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society and other relief agencies towards recovery efforts and various relief supplies.
The international NSK locations (Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania) were also able to collect 10,000,000yen worth of contributions, which has been sent to various relief agencies operated by the host countries. In total, NSK's group of global companies' contributions amounted to over 35,000,000yen (USD 330,000). |
