| NSK Ltd. operates 19 manufacturing locations in Japan and is proud of its position as a leading bearing manufacturer. It is highly respected in other fields such as automotive products, precision machine parts and mechatronics products. NSK began its global expansion in the early 1960fs with the establishment of the sales office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Presently, its sales offices span 25 countries with bases in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. Since its first overseas production base on the outskirts of San Paolo in Brazil in 1972, many more have been started in America, England, and Asia. In 1990, NSK acquired UPI, which owned RHP, the biggest bearing brand in England. Production and sales locations, which cover the EU market, have enabled NSK to have a stronger market presence in this region. Excluding manufacturing locations in Japan, NSK currently has 36 global manufacturing bases. |
